Why TeslaTracker buyers actually buy

Most marketplaces fill your inbox with tire-kickers, scammers, and lowballers. Ours fills it with Tesla shoppers who already know the spec they want and the price it should be.

100%

Tesla-only audience

Every visitor is here for a Tesla. Compare to Craigslist where Tesla buyers are 0.3% of traffic.

High-intent

They search by trim + year

Buyers find your listing through filters like '2022 Model Y AWD under 30k mi' — not by accident.

Pre-informed

They've done the research

Before messaging you, buyers see fair-price band, battery health %, sold-comp data, and our AI's take.

No spam

No bots, no scammers

Email-verified accounts only, in-app chat (not exposed phone numbers), and a 5/10s spam guard on messages.

Craigslist / FB Marketplace
  • Audience: anyone selling/buying anything
  • Buyers ask for VIN over text, then ghost
  • No price benchmarks, no battery data
  • Inbox flooded with lowballers + scams
  • You manually fight every objection
Cars.com / Carvana / Carmax
  • Wholesale offers below private-party value
  • Trade-in lowballs (often 15-25% under market)
  • Listing fees + commission cuts
  • Slow response on private listings
  • No Tesla-specific data buyers care about
TeslaTracker
  • Audience: Tesla shoppers, period
  • Buyers see specs + price history first
  • Free AutoCheck + battery health bundled
  • Email-verified chat, spam-blocked
  • Keep the full sale price — no commission

What's included in every listing

Tesla-specific data bundled in — buyers see it before they message you.

Anchored to 24,000+ real Tesla sales

Our fair-price tool tells you exactly what your config has been selling for — so you don't underprice or scare away buyers.

Battery health surfaces automatically

Your listing shows a Range Score badge based on Tesla's own range data. Buyers see it instantly and trust the listing more.

Free AutoCheck report bundled

Every listing gets a free Experian AutoCheck vehicle history report. Competitors charge $20 extra for this.

Direct chat with buyers

No phone-number bidding wars or sketchy email exchanges. Built-in chat keeps your contact info private until you choose to share.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it really free? What's the catch?
Yes, the Free plan is $0 with no card required. The catch is reach: free listings only appear when a buyer has narrowed their search by model, year, or state. They don't show up on the default /inventory browse page where most traffic lands. If you want every browsing buyer to see your listing, Basic ($29) puts you mid-grid on pages 1–5 and Boost ($49) puts you at the top of page 1 plus our email + X channels. You can start free and upgrade any time.
How is this different from listing on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace?
Two ways: (1) your listing comes pre-loaded with our market data — fair-price band, battery health score, free AutoCheck report — that buyers actually trust. (2) The audience is Tesla buyers specifically. We get tens of thousands of monthly visits from people researching specific Tesla configurations.
What does the Boost upgrade get me that Basic doesn't?
Top-of-search placement for 30 days, a red 'Featured' badge, a bigger listing card, and most importantly — your listing gets pushed to our 5,000+ Tesla deals email subscribers, posted to our X account @TeslaTrackerUS (13.2k Tesla followers), and promoted in our AI Tesla Expert's recommendations. None of which any other Tesla marketplace can match.
Can I upgrade from Free to Basic or Boost later?
Yes. From your listing dashboard at /sell/my, hit 'Upgrade plan' and pick the new tier. Stripe checkout takes a minute, then your listing moves up tiers immediately and the 30-day clock resets from the upgrade date.
What happens after 30 days if my Tesla hasn't sold?
Paid listings (Basic/Boost) renew automatically at a lower monthly rate ($14/mo or $24/mo). You can turn off auto-renew any time. Free listings simply expire after 30 days — no charge, no auto-renew. You can re-list or upgrade from your dashboard.
Do you take a commission on the sale?
No. Zero commission, zero broker fees. You pay only a flat listing fee shown at checkout — whatever the buyer pays you goes to you.
How do I get paid? Do you handle the title transfer?
You and the buyer arrange payment + title transfer directly. Most people use cash, certified check, or services like KeySavvy for secure escrow + DMV paperwork. We're working on a built-in escrow option for a future release.
Can I sell a Tesla that still has a loan on it?
Yes. Mention the loan in your description so buyers know upfront. You'll need to coordinate the payoff with your lender at the time of sale. Most Tesla owners do this through services like KeySavvy.
